Circa 1820. 4TO. Morocco, rubbed. Book of manuscript poetry. Approximatley 140 leaves dedicated to Dominique Jean Larrey, Surgeon General of Napoleon's Army. Signed by Larrey. Also Initialed by Larrey. Manuscript in at least two hands. Larrey is considered the first modern military surgeon and developed many innovations for transport of wounded and field surgery.
