Lot #198: (SIGNED) FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT, TWO SHEETS OF STAMPS
Both sheets from Roosevelt's personal collection and both signed by Roosevelt and Henry Morganthau Jr., his Secretary of the Treasury. Both are in the original H.R. Harmer stamp auction folder. The auction was held on February 2 and 4, 1946. First sheet is 100, 4 1/2 cent White House stamps. The second sheet is 100, 21 cent Chester A. Arthur stamps. The 4 1/2 cent sheet is fine; the 21 cent sheet has two tiny pieces missing from the two top left margins.
