Paris, Pierre Douze, 1898. Etched portrait of France by Loevy. Full red morocco by Charles Meunier - dated 99 (1899). 4 inch bloom, stem and leaves inlaid on the front board. Simulated strapwork and one inlaid bloom on the spine. Silk doublures with 44 inlaid olive blooms with gilt leaves and vines. Unique copy on Japan paper - notation in ink on the limitations page "Exemploirne unique un papier du Japan. Rene Douze." Original wraps bound-in.
