Color underwater photography by Christopher Newbert. Signed
by the photographer, binder, papermaker, calligrapher and
others involved with creating the book. According to the
publisher only 450 copies were completed. The limitation
was based on the amount of koa wood available to make the
boxes. The wood was retrieved from trees felled in a 1982
hurricane. Binding: 3/4 navy morocco over blue handmade paper
with white fibers on the edge simulating an ocean tide. Housed
in a cloth folding case with a morocco label and koa wood
strip. This housed in the koa wood hinged box. Beautiful
grain finish.
