FORTE BY MUZIO CLEMENTI.
Engraved title and 200 pages of engraved music and lyrics.
The first edition of Haydn's magnum opus had a very poor
English translation. Clementi's version though not perfect,
was the first attempt at making "English" sense.
Bound in contemporary 1/4 leather over marbled boards. Binding
shabby, front board separated. Internally fine.
