Maille, Jean Moussat, 1616-1620. First edition, quarto, 3 volumes. Bound in contemporary brown calf with gilt spines. Some damage is visible to the bottom and top of the spine. This is very rare as the book was condemned for its statements against Henry II and Charles IX. Many copies were burned.
