Each with rectangular back with rolled top, the downcurved arms flanking seat with cushion; 33 1/2 x 29 x 38 1/2 in. During an interview for a New York Times article published February 15, 2002, Dunne said of one chair in this pair "There is a particular chair in my apartment that I head for every morning. I've had it for approximately 16 years. I've just always been drawn to it. It's the only chair I feel right about reading the newspaper in."

Lot #80: FEDERAL-STYLE MAHOGANY HIGH CHEST
The upper section with rectangular molded top over conforming case fitted with two short frieze drawers above three graduated long drawers, the lower section with one long and two short drawers over an arched apron flanked on either side by a short drawer, on turned legs; 60 1/2 x 41 x 21 1/2 in. This high chest was inherited from the Dunne family in West Hartford, CT.
