HORATII FLACCI EMBLEMATA", ANTWERP, 1612
3rd edition, 4to. 103 engraved plates (complete). Text in
Latin, Spanish, Italian, French, and Dutch. Engravings illustrate
mottos from Horace. Otto Vaenius was Rubenses teacher from
1595 but there is no evidence Rubens had any hand in these
illustrations. Internally a fine copy. Bound in full contemporary
vellum. Spine rebacked in cloth with original spine laid
down. Spine label and spine chipped.

DE MORALE", PARIS (GEORGE VISAT), 1968
20 color drypoint etchings by Hans Bellmer, all signed in
pencil. 1 of 150 copies, this copy has 10 etchings on Velin
D'Arches and a suite of 10 on Japon Nacre. Etchings are erotic
and were inspired by the Marquis de Sade. All loose in a
paper portfolio, purple cloth solander case and a purple
velvet covered slipcase.
