27 leaves, 4to. An instructional book on painting birds by the great Kyoto artist and teacher. Birds range from fully colored to no color, many partially colored. Three double-page plates are fully colored, one a hawk. Lot also includes, two smaller Japanese bird books, both instructional, and one other.
