1st edition in English, Folio. Title page printed in red and black. 80 copperplate engravings. Two of the plates are on the art of fowling, showing capture nets. Pages 397-441 on the art of falconry by John Ray. Plates 43-46 have small tears in the lower margin. Otherwise internally fine. Bound in full contemporary brown calf. Binding is shabby.

1st edition, 4to. Handcolored engraved title and 12 handcolored engraved plates of flowers in vases; one plate for each month. Contemporary brown calf. Rubs and some board separation. Black stain on part of the leather. Plates and text are fine and brightly colored.

1st edition folio. Handcolored engraved allegorical frontis, H.C. Vignette, H.C. Coat of Arms, and 75 handcolored plates showing 1500 plants. Some dampstaining, front and rear endpapers heavily stained; frontis stained in margin and stuck to preceding endpaper; title stained at lower right corner; upper left corner of plates 74 and 75 stained; pages 529 to end stained. Most pages are loose, but 3/4 morocco binding is sound. Very rare in colored state.
