Attached is the Imperial Seal in red wax in original wooden skippet. Signed by Charles. This comes along with a printed 7 page document, 1719, also signed by Charles VI.

Lot #206: (VALLEY FORGE) REVOLUTIONARY WAR MANUSCRIPT DOCUMENT - HEADQUARTERS - VALLEY FORGE - JANUARY 7, 1778. FOUR PAGES.
Manuscript outlines the procedure for inspection of military hospitals at Valley Forge and vicinity. Washington was aware of poor treatment and disorder at the hospitals and ordered daily inspections to include inventory of patients, their clothing and military equipment. The inspector was also to return soldiers to duty as soon as possible and prevent desertions. The manuscript outlines 10 specific duties for the inspector. The document gives the flavor of the hardship facing the Revolutionary Army during the Valley Forge winter and Washington's attempt at holding his forces together. Some separation at the folds. Browning but all very readable.

Large folio manuscript antiphoner (sacred music) on vellum. 63 leaves with 5 line staves in red with music and words in black. Initial page with red borders, a chain of dragons within the red. Very large initial letter in red and blue ink. Many large initials in red throughout. Small hole in leaf #53. Old repair on leaf #3. Bound in contemporary calf over wooden boards. Embossed circular design on the boards. Two metal clasps with leather straps. New leather spine.

Four volumes, large thick 8vo. 1 of 200 large paper sets with a page of Roosevelt's manuscript bound into volume one. (DANIEL BOONE EDITION). Binding is full green publishers morocco. Gilt flowers and vines in each corner of the boards and spines. Fine set.

Book in honor of Percy G. Williams for his aid to firemen’s families. Calligraphy is signed "Nelmes". Consists of five pages: 1. Officer's badge - watercolor, ink and gold with embellishments. 2. Fire department badge - watercolor, ink and silver. 3. Three calligraphy pages with color. 4. One page, black ink. All pages nicely embellished. Binding shabby.
