Provenance: Estate of Floriano Vecchi. He was an Italian born artist, printer and publisher in Greenwich Village. He printed and published the works of many second generation abstract expressionist like Alfred Leslie, Helen Frankenthaler, Georgia O'Keeffe, Paul Cadmus and many others. One could imagine the conversations, drinking and smoking that went on until the wee hours with some of the greatest 20th c. artists.
