February Mid-Week at Stair is an exciting two-day affair spanning centuries and styles from across the globe. Highlights include a Renaissance-inspired collection of Italian walnut Savonarola chairs, plaques and suits of armor sure to make any home feel like a castle. Also included is a selection of traditional furniture, fine art and decorations. Transitioning into the 20th century, the sale includes a significant selection of American pottery from Grueby, Marblehead and Chelsea, complemented by a group of modern art. We are also pleased to highlight a selection of Asian Works of Art to round out the two-day sale. Notable collections in the sale include the Property from the Collection of Ezra and Cecile Zilkha, the Estate of Don F. Gaston, Greenwich, Ct, Property from the Estate of Joyce Blaffer de La Begassiere von Bothmer, among many others.
