Spine of dust jacket faded; minor chips at top and bottom of spine; other minor rubs and chips. Signed by Hemingway on the front free endpaper. First issue points: no disclaimer on verso of dedication page. Dust jacket has mispelling of "Catherine Barcley" as "Katherin Barclay" on the front flap.

(3) "In Black and White," 1888. Indian Railway Series #3. (4) "Under the Deodars," 1888. Indian Railway Series #4, first issue. (5) "Phantom Rickshaw and Other Eerie Tales," 1889. Indian Railway Series #5, second issue. (6) "City of the Dreadful Night and Other Places," 1891. Indian Railway Series #14, first published edition (and second Indian edition), only three known of the first. Some minor soiling. Wrappers and bindings in much better than usual condition.
