Lot #89: MOSER, JAMES HENRY (1854-1913). BOOK WITH MOUNTED WATERCOLORS, PEN AND INK DRAWINGS AND PENCIL SKETCHES
1877-1902. Twenty-two watercolors (7 small); 7 pen and ink sketches (3 small) and 20 pencil drawings. Scenes are in many locations in the U.S. and Europe. Some are in the Cornwall, CT area. Moser was a watercolorist who illustrated Joel Chandler Harris' "Uncle Remus, His Songs and His Sayings" 1881.

Handbound in Japanese linen dyed to resemble red Georgia clay. Housed in a linen covered clamshell box. 1 of 400 copies signed by Maya Angelou and John T. Biggers.
