A Hudson Valley Horse Farm Designed by Michael Krieger in Mid-Week at STAIR – Day One
Designed by Michael Krieger in the English Country House tradition, the collection from a Prominent Hudson Valley Horse Farm featured in our upcoming Mid-Week at STAIR sale showcases a selection of classic English furniture and decorative arts. Highlighting the collection is Chinese blue and white porcelain, sporting art, sculpture, and silver as well as a large pair of George II Style Carved Pine Mirrors, George III Mahogany Armchairs with X-form backrests, and a George III Mahogany and Parcel-Gilt Slant Front Bureau Bookcase. Michael Krieger who began his decorating career with Angelo Donghia, in New York acquired much of the collection from high-end New York and London antique dealers. The collection featured in our Mid-Week at STAIR catalogues weaves together an eclectic mix of traditional furniture and decorative arts, attractive for anyone interested in a refresh of their living space.
