1500 to 1900: European and American Fine Art

From Old Master prints to European landscape views, Baroque still lifes to American portraits, and myriad other genres and styles in between, this sale offers examples of painting, works on paper and sculpture from the Renaissance through the 19thcentury. Highlights include paintings by Simone del Tintore, Armand Guillaumin, and Charles Victor Thirion, a lovely capriccio view by Willem Van Nieulant II, and a full-length portrait by Glyn Warren Philpot. Also included is a selection of 16th and 17thcentury works on paper highlighted by Jan Muller’s Minerva and Mercury Arming Perseus, and a small group of sculpture with works by Anna Hyatt Huntington and Edward Hodges Baily.
