Thursday Morning at Stair

Join us for a Thursday Morning at Stair sale that features curated selections of porcelain, glass and silver, alongside a variety of furniture, decorations and fine art to help update your home for the New Year. We are pleased to feature a single-owner sequence of property from the Collection of Ambassador and Mrs. Felix Rohatyn. Ambassador Rohatyn was an investment banker and diplomat who spent most of his career with Lazard Frères & Co., now Lazard, playing a central role in preventing the bankruptcy of New York City in 1975. He served as US Ambassador to France from 1997 to 2000. The eclectic variety of works across a range of collecting categories and genres in the Rohatyn’s collection represents the couple’s life well-lived and their quintessential tale of immigrant success.
