20th Century, Modern & Contemporary Fine Art on Thursday, June 6 at 10 am
Focusing on the fine arts of the 20th and 21st centuries, our 20th Century, Modern & Contemporary Fine Art sale includes works by Modern, Post-War and Contemporary artists working in a variety or mediums and modalities. Highlights in the sale include sculpture by Harry Bertoia, Eva Hild, Tom Otterness and Arman, alongside works by Donald Judd, Jasper Johns, Barbara Kruger, Richard Serra, Ed Ruscha, and Jakob Gasteiger. Also included is a fine selection of German Expressionist prints, and works on paper by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Elizabeth Peyton and Louise Lawler. Works by Jasper Johns, Mary Heilman, Frank Stella, Robert Motherwell and Helen Frankenthaler from the Collection of Gordon and Zanne Stewart add to the depth of the sale’s offerings. Other highlights include works by German artists from the Private Collection of Margarete Roeder, and works from the Collection of Ann and Gordon Getty, the Collection of Dorothy Tapper Goldman and the Collection of James Grafstein.
