This small, curated sale highlights primitive and naïve art made in rural China by commune artists during the 1970s and 80s. Also included are contemporary ink wash drawings by Yang Mingyi, Huong Junghui and Chen Yi Fei. Blending Chinese artistic traditions and contemporary social issues, Chinese artists of the last thirty years have been producing works in a profusion of styles that have attracted collectors from around the world.
